TL;DR - complete recap? Or be selective?
--
I've recently acquired a D303, which after a clean and lube is working well. The main reservoir cap is an unusual size, but I've got an over-specified part on the way from mouser.
I've read some suggestions to leave the rest of the caps alone. However, this eBay recap kit is suggesting the opposite, that leaving old dry caps in the servo circuit could actually damage the servo IC (AN6636). There aren't many electrolytics in it, so replacement is easy enough.
Thoughts? Pull the rest and replace with Panasonic EB?
