I'm out here in Madison, WI. Built my first set up this year with parts from craigslist, facebook, etc. Music has felt flat to me for a while now, but now that I have a good (to me) setup, media in general has had a renaissance.
Been lurking here past few days as I've ended up with some gear that needs work.
Currently, learning as much as I can before further troubleshooting and undertaking some repairs.
On the docket to fix:
Pioneer Sx-424 (intermittent pops, unresponsive treble pot, and very soft right channel on A/B outputs)
Jvc Rx-222 (Display segments on the left side of the display go out while in use)
Sanyo RD-W39 (Got for free and it seems to have some loose belts, less of a priority for me)
Yamaha Rx-V759 (My main reciever, only issue is the physical back input button causes system to power off. Otherwise system works perfectly fine and issue is not replicable with the remote. Not even going to touch this reciever out of fear of breaking it, but it also just works fine for me otherwise)
Got some other stuff I haven't began to look at yet. This may be too long for an introductory, but felt like it'd be better to post one of these before putting questions out there.
