Hi All, I will also give a short explanation of my full digital set up. HP computer as a headless music server, into the Maverick DAC/Tube preamp, into my active crossover. Controlled wirelessly by my laptop. Also have a 1.5TB external HD just for music in WAV and FLAC format.

My CD player is dead if anyone wants to bring one.

Hey D, I don't have a TT. The one I am building will take gallons of water for the polishing process and that would turn my driveway into a hockey rink. I do have a phono pre amp if someone wants to bring a TT. ps, because I only just now getting back into vinyl, I don't have any good recordings either. Cheers.

So your selling a Duel 1229Q TT to pay your water bills??

I think I can make this one ... I have missed the last few ... I am close by.

I'd be glad to bring a Denon DVD-2910 CD/HDCD/SACD player ... (non-modified, stock Burr-Brown DACs. I believe ... ).

Looking forward to it!

That would be great Don. Thanks.

Woo Hoo!!
another great afternoon with the locals!!
Thanks Dennis for some great music, excellent chili and good times.
And a tip of the hat to Bauhausler for his very interesting and informative "real world" perspective presentation on chip amps. :thmbsp:

Yup, another great time! Thanks for hosting again Dennis.:thmbsp:

I have been reading about and contemplating chip amps lately. With the superb and informative presentation about them today, I am putting that project on my short list!

A Job well done:beerchug:

Good meet!

Dennis is a great host and very interesting to see a digital music server in action.

Ross's presentation was thorough and informative, and quite relevant. :thmbsp:

Great selections of music, beer, wine, and great hi-fi conversation!

Was nice seeing everyone, even if only for a short time. Thanks for hosting Dennis.

Grumpy

Yes, thank you Dennis and thank you Ross. A very cool gig as usual at Dennis' place. The new midrange horns sounded fantastic with two subs filling in the bottom end. Lush, inviting, detailed, solid sound. All driven by computer playback - who woulda thunk it?:thmbsp:

We appreciate all the effort it took to host this! You guys are the best.

Jeff

Yikes - looks like Grumpy was up early!
