The October SMAC meet will be held at Ken's place near Port Huron on Saturday, October 23rd from 1pm -6pm as usual. Ken has recruited a local acoustic guitarist to provide a session of tunes as well.

Dang, when we set the date for our moving sale, I forgot about the SMAC meet. Have a good time.
 
Yep. But we just found out today that it won't be until next summer so we are putting off the moving sale until spring.

I am trying to get my new amp done for the SMAC meet now.
 
Rats... the one time I'm in town on a meeting day and it's the exact same time as the reason we'll be there... Detroit Fall Beer Fest @ Eastern Market! :beer:

I think I'll get over it though! :D
 
Hey Ken, thanks for a great time. Once again, great food and friends. The guy that played was REALLY GOOD. I think he could go far.
 
Thanks to all that made the trek out to Port Huron, making October's meet a success.
Nothing left behind but empties and dirty dishes :-).
Had a good time with all, and the last man standing was Mark K. he left at 10:00pm.

Thanks to you and Carol for the great eats and warm hospitality. I truly envy individuals who can play a guitar and sing with feeling on key, your neighbour is very talented.

As usual your system amazed, clean, emotional, solid foundation all from speakers you can carry under one arm, amazing. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Ken, outstanding meet! That is one sweet sounding rig. You've got to be proud. I thought the live music was great las was the food. All in all, one heck of a meet.

Yes indeed. Thanks Ken for hosting another successful event at your place. It was cool to have a live musician for a change of pace and Rob played very well. I enjoyed his song choices too - nice varied sets of tunes.

I enjoyed hearing the changes you've made to your system since last time - the Rogue Metis MAGNUM and new Bob Latino amp seemed to play exceptionally well together.
