Stopped at a GW this morning to check out the usual - stereo equipment, records, and tapes. While I was looking through the cassettes a worker came by with a tub of stuff. In it were 8 sealed TDK SA-C90 blank tapes from the late 70's and only $.99 each too!

These are the same tapes I was buying by the case right after I got out of the Navy to record albums on. I don't have a clue what I was paying for them back then but I know it was more than $.99 each.

About 1977 or so I bought TDK SA 90's at Musicraft in Chicago. A box of 10 for I believe were 12.99. That was my favorite brand.

The cassette gods are smiling down upon us...

It just so happens that today when I used the last one of the 100 or so D90s I got a while back, I find a sealed case of 10 D120s for 25 cents a piece at my regular thrift. They're not really worth anything, but I needed something to record on. I had to stop myself from using them all on the new MCS 3556 ($12) I got along with them.:D
