Small usb tube sound card

Atm i use a hifime sabre 9018 usb sound card, Tube T1 with upgraded jan ge 5654w tubes and tone controls (don't need them and would like one without tone controls as long as it's neutral) then my Marantz PM6006.

I want to skip atleast one think but have both a sound card + tubes with volume knob so i can adjust gain to give a good volume range and not to overload my input.

I want one of those cheap ones like the fx audio tube preamp

What can you recommend me? up to 60-70 euros with shipping form europe (amazon,uk,de or ebay)

If you leave the tone controls at the half way mark that should be a flat response. Its like not having them at all as long as the tone controls are active and not passive.

Why not just get the FX you referenced? I'm sure the bajillion page thread here (that you are involved in) should be convincing enough.

That's not a sound card or dac, it's a tube buffer or preamp.

I want to cut down on units so i only use a usb sound card or dac, then my amplifier, instead of usb sound card, tubebuffer and then my amplifier

Properly won't make a huge difference using one unit instead of 2

yes there is https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shiwaki-Va...=vacuum+tube+sound+card&qid=1574279574&sr=8-6 adding my tube pramp did make it easier to adjust gain so it's not loud so i can use a wider range of my volume before it's loud, compared my 10 db attenuators, it softens the highs a bit without sounding unaturally soft
