Somewhere on the phone or on the provider's website you will be able to track data usage. Track and you'll avoid the OOOO CRAPPP!!! at te end of the month.
FYI - Many people like myself who had iPhones with unlimited plans before they did away with unlimited plans still have unlimited plans. I have no idea how much I use.
