I am seeing some Snell Type D speakers on my local market. Untested, $200. The brand seems highly regarded. Currently I have Epicure 14 speakers and I think they're great and feel no need to upgrade. Are these snells such a bargain that I should drive 90 minutes to get them even though I don't need them?

If all drivers work, it is a steal.
I would be there ASAP to make sure, and if good, cash in hand. IMHO
 
Yeah, I figured that out yesterday evening after reading more about them on the internet. Arranged with the wife to pick them up today, turns out the husband sold them to someone else yesterday but the guy came with Venmo, and they only wanted cash. So he's coming back today and they're saving them for him, I'm on standby in case he flakes. Ah well. I think they were only talking to me as a backup plan all along now that I think about it.

Offer them 250 cash now. As long as all drivers work you are still stealing them.
