So which should I use?

My Kenwood Eleven III is still being repaired, and won't be done till a year atleast. (I'm completely rebuilding it)

So, I have either an Onkyo TX-4500 MKII or a TX-820 to use.

I like both, but I can't really find the specs on them.

Which is better? I rather like the remote cable for the TX-820, it can control my DX-702 Onkyo CD player, but I like the pilot lights on the 4500.

But, in power, which is better?

i would stick with the 4500mkll, very underrated at 45wpc , warm powerful clean sounding receiver for it size
and looks awesome, i have one driving my quartets and i like a lot::smoke:

The question is, which one do you prefer? Or do they sound similar with the rest of your gear?

They sound very familiar with my ears. In terms of musical power though, it's not like I can blast them all the time. I only get about 1 hour a weekday to do that, and even then, my bedroom is only 10x10ft.

The 4500 has a dual power supply. That's one reason they are underrated. I'd suggest a long session with it. Maybe a month, and then change. You can then evaluate the subtle differences.
