College football playoff time!
I suppose the next question would be ... WHAT big game?

NCAA Football Division 2 Region 4 Championship
#2 Grand Valley State Lakers (12-0) vs #15 Ferris State Bulldogs (11-2)

For me, the big game was last night. Got to watch our Washington Huskies put a hurt on Colorado. Gonna watch the next big-to-me game in a few weeks, when I presume UW will take on 'Bama. I think on paper they match up pretty well, but in the real world I'm not quite so optimistic.

Kind of a big game here as well. If Colorado had pulled that one out, UM Wolverines might have snuck into the final four. ;-(

BTW ... anyone interested in regional games ... check out ESPN3. Surprised to see they had the GVSU game on, but there it is. Their webcasts have come a long way in quality - good camera work and talking heads giving the play by play, as well as excellent video quality with minimal drops on my so so UVerse connection.

Well, the BIG GAME is over, and my team lost ... ;-(

On to the next BIG GAME!

That would be Penn State vs Wisconsin here too. Ohio State is a lock and sitting back this weekend, so they're in. I'd love to see PSU pull this one out and at least one of the current top four go down, throwing the whole committee into chaos. Clemson's had some squeakers along the way, and Florida ain't no pushover. Big debate is ...

- Do we want two teams from the same conference in the final four?
- If the B10 gets two in, can they really put Michigan in ahead of the winner of the B10 championship?

Twere me, I'd have no issues with having three B10 teams playing for all the marbles. <G>
