I just recently bought a solid state Motorola stereo/record player console..The MCM cabinet style was ecactly what Ive been looking for. However this console is missing the record player/changer..This Motorola model number that is SK489GW and is printed on the removable backing that cover that hides the unit's insides..I haven't been able to find any info, at all, regarding its model number..I did find and purchas the Photofact, with the closest chassis number, to the one printed on the backing of the console. The chassis number is FHS2703F. The Motorola Photofact, that I purchased, had almost the exact chassis number printed on the backing of my console minus the letter 'F"..How much do these model numbers, on the backing of these old consoles, really tell you? I figured that I wouldn't have any trouble finding at least some info. by searching "Solid State Motorola Console Model SK489GW and or Chassis Number FHS2703F" but I haven't found anything, really..I had to scour forums just and get info from a Facebook member/sellewr of FB Marketplace.I'm somewhat worried that I could possibly still not have the correct PhotoFact but there isn't another one out there with anything close to the model number of my Motorola console..The PhotoFact with the similar chassis number says that the record table originally came with either a VM136RC or a VM137RC..How do I pick which one buy? However, I haven't been able to find either model of VM changer..Any and all info, on this Solid State Motorola Stereo/record player/changer Console will be much appreciated as well as any info of how to find one of the 2 models that were listed, in the PhotoFact, with my similar chassis number..Also, please let me know if I'm posting, in this forum, correctly..I am new to forums and some have a ton of rules..
