Sold a pair of MC30 a couple years ago for a bit over half the asking price that were not only in far better shape but had just gotten $1,100 restoration at Audio Classics with documentation. Seller is whistling Dixie.

Agree. And no indication that it's been restored at all. Betting it hasn't.

Seems like sellers are seeing rapidly increasing prices and adding a few 'k' for good measure ;-)

The pair that I just got from AC were $1500 LESS then those. The seller doesn't get it, but then again, he's selling in SF where life is a whole lot different then it is in the rest of the country.
