A bit of googling reveals that it has a separate amp chassis, probably PP EL84.

I had a pair of the speakers, once. Not that special and I ended up parting them out.

personally, keep the speakers... no, really keep the speakers.

that console is very very nice and you don't have to google it to see that amp peeking out the bottom.

for that price, i'm a buyer alll day long...

Just to clarify, the speakers that I parted out were the ones that go to the console (which I didn't get and was long gone) not the Altecs.

I'm sure that y'all knew that...
