wow and i thought i was doing pretty good when i found 4 of those mags at a thrift once.

excellent deal on the speakers, if the deal is as good on the mags and i lived closer i'd be easing up outta there with 2 pair of speakers and a whole lot of mags;/

Are those Fortes? Or, is that the KG series? Either way, that could be a very fair price for the Klipsch. I once found a few NOS unopened three-packs of those Pioneer changer cassettes at a thrift for $3 each three-pack. I bought one to flip on ebay, because the new three-packs tend to bring $30 or more... who would've thought they were still in such demand?!?

Thanks for the heads up. I know where that store is as I stop by there sometimes when in Aurora. $149 is a great price for KG4s in oak. I'm just knee deep in speakers now, so I either have to pass or get divorced.

BTW, there was a pair of EPI 100Vs at the Arc on North Academy here in the Springs. I think they wanted $58 for the pair. Great bookshelf speakers with one of the better tweeters of the period.

a whole LOT of 6 disc changers use those, not just pioneers, pioneer has a ridiculous number of models that use them as well though:)

my made in belgium magnavox uses them as well
