Just looked at some of the seller's other stuff. Appears to have a lot of good vintage tube stuff, and no doubt knows their value --but the market will dictate, in a no-reserve auction.

If you look at the seller's completed auctions, they originally sold for $320. No idea why that transaction never completed.

The Prelude was first produced with the 6V6 configuration (~ 10 Watts) and later with an EL84 configuration (~ 12 watts). Apparently the latter is a bit more trendy, but I bet this pair would do a very nice job as well.

They'll probably be tempting until last hour. Last ten seconds will be telling. I'm at saturation point, so I'm not in the running but curiosity will make me watch

Those are going to go for a LOT more than $350...

Why??? The 6BQ5 Preludes brought $60-80 each and I prefer the 6BQ5 tube.

Heck, a filthy one with Bugle Boy 6BQ5s and a Mullard EZ81 only brought $38.82. The BBs are worth that themselves...

If there's any life left in them. Seen an amp or two full of dead or mostly dead soldiers before....

I thought they went relatively cheap. I wasn't in the market for them. I hope if one of you was interested you won them. If that's the case you should review them for us,......cheers
