Sonab..the new white van speakers?

I don't know,but having seen Sonab in the past I am sure these are 'white van'speakers..has anyone else run across these..

They don't look to be the quality I know Sonab for,which if I remember were much like Magnat or Heco..

Apparently they are making speakers under a new name:

Those don't look like any Sonabs I've seen.

Perhaps it's another case of a once great brand name and logo being sold off and stuck on bottom end crap (like Scott, Dual, Fisher, Garrard, AR, KLH etc).

They sure don't look like any Sonab speakers I've ever seen either. Sonab's speaker designs were very unconventional and usually featured uni-directional driver arrays in unusual cabinet designs.

Be surprised if they are real Sonabs. More likely the scambags just ripped off the name like they did Genesis. Some Sonabs went for big money on the auction site.

Sonab had some lower priced models in the late 1990's (i.e in the $500 to $1000) range. Doesn't look out of the realm of possibility that this would be a pair.

If it was a lesser company using the name, I fail to see why they would continue to make them in Sweden.

Could be wrong though.
