Sonabs. Same drivers, different boxes, smaller box=deeper bass....why?

Mid-Fi Crisis
I've LOVED my baby Sonab OD-11's for some time so I jumped at the chance to grab some Sonab OA-14's on the weekend (drove 5hrs return--- couldn't wait for or risk shipping).

But, the little OD-11's have a much deeper bass response. Both sets of speakers share the same mid-bass driver, just the 14's have 4tweeters rather than 1.

Could it be crossover caps? .......... got me stumped.

Is it in fact deeper? Perhaps the Qtc of the smaller enclosure is higher, so there is a one (or several) dB hump in the bass that you're perceiving as "deeper"?

PS. I think I still owe you some Sonab speaker info! :-P
