I bought a Marantz SR5003 AVR off Sonace'84. I already had one, and I wanted another for a second system.
I try to take good care of my equipment, and am pretty picky about it.
The unit I bought of Cory was just excellent. He sent the manual, remote, power cord, FM antenna, Audyssey mic/cable and original box/packaging. Everything in perfect condition.
He shipped it the day after the transaction was complete, and it got here in fine condition.
I wanted to fire it up and verify it was A-OK before leaving feedback, and it's sort of a pain to tap into the system I'm currently running or I'd have run it up earlier, so that's all my fault.
But I'm running it now and it's just perfect, just as nice as the unit it's standing in for.
So as far as my personal transaction with Cory, Sonace'84, went, I couldn't be happier. I wish all deals for used gear could go this smoothly and turn out so well. And I apologize again for not confirming operation sooner and getting on with the feedback.
