Are the SONY APM- 690's the good APM's? Or the one's that use the cheap metal connector on the woofer? I know some of the apm line speakers were cheesey rack system speakers but have no clue which one's?

Building my 80's system and these are perfect. I also hear they aren't too shabby either.
