Sony APM Center Channel version 1

finished with a preliminary version of my sony APM center channel speaker. Used 2 woofers from a pair of apm 22's off of ebay. Anew in box tweeter from a APM 66ES. a crossover from an Infinty RS video center channel and a box I made up from 3/4" MDF. wasn't expecting too much but I was pretty surprised at how good this thing sounded. next I need to decide how nice I want to make it look before I mate it with my APM-77w's. :thmbsp:

thanks....tried to model it after the larger sony's....the 77w's port starts at the back of the woofer in the 3 way design and exits underneath it and is shaped very similar to the one I made. I thought of doing 2 ports with each behind and under the woofer the same way but tried this first. a crossover made specifically for these drivers would be ideal but I lack that knowledge unfortunately so for now I shall work with this. still some sealing up and finishing yet.
 
I am still looking for a tweeter for my 22's. Those devils are nearly impossible to find! On a side note, I have exactly enough to make what you just did! COOOOL!
