Hello!
I just picked up a Sony CDP-C15ESD CD 10-Disc magazine changer. The unit is very clean, in great condition for a 1988 model, and supposedly refurbished (rails lubricated, contacts polished, etc.).
However... I've noticed that when playing back using the "Shuffle All Discs" setting, that songs are not eliminated from the calendar after they have been played.
I have had Sony component CD players since I was a teenager in 1992 and the Shuffle function has always automatically removed tracks once they were played.
Does anyone know if this was not the case with older models or if there is something else I need to do? Could it be that the Shuffle function on my unit is defective (seems odd)? Maybe the Shuffle function on players of this vintage were not yet removing played tracks?
Thanks for any insight you might have!
Bob
