I found this Sony CFD-20 for a few dollars and had some extra tape belts, so I looked online but couldnt find any info. So I'm posting this to help someone else that may need guidance. You'll need to remove the rear screws, including the one under the handle. Carefully, but sternly remove frot of unit. Unscrew the the LCD panel and remove the wires. Remove the cassette mechanism and turn it carefully over. Then remove the motor and pay attention to the orientation of the two belts. Have some Acetone on hand or nail polish remover to remove the melted mess. Then replace the belts and oil those areas that need oil. Then put everything back together and hopefully you'll have the same success as I did.
