Hello, this is my first question at Audiokarma.
A friend of mine has this DVD Sony, but it can't play SACD layer from the hybrid discs, however performs without problems CD, SACD single layer and cd layer of hybrid disc. I will try with the autocalibration function, but the service manual says must be performed with a set of calibration discs. Since I don't have those discs, may I do the calibration with a normal (comercial) CD audio and normal DVD discs?, any experience about this out there? On the net I've read a forum in wich a guy make the autocalibration with normal CD's and DVD's with successful results.
