Sony E80ES Problems, please help if you can, thanks

This preamp I bought locally from a vintage store. It seemed to work fine for awhile but now it gets stuck, you can change components or volume or nothin untill you actually diconect the power plug.

When not hooked to system it works flawlessly. I am reall stumped and so tired of installing and taking it out over and over.
Some of you may know me I'm a paid subscriber name vintagecrank but had to open another account because the forum would not send me a password change.

IF YOU CAN HELP I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL. I am permanently disabled so funds or tight to send to shop for repair.

When you turn the input switch, you hear no click?

I just saw your other post regarding the problem. I would check the wiring connectors, give 'em a wiggle or re-seat them.

Yes it wil only reset by unplugging AC cord,,,really frustrated
