Just replaced the belts on my KA1ES and the eject button came out. Looked like an easy repair and now confused on what to do. I got it back in place but it is not secure

The compressed spring would generally push the plastic actuator and metal piece apart and compress under finger pressure to release the door latch. The metal should be sitting either in a channel or be better 'in-line' with the black plastic push actuator.
