Sony plx295 turntable issues

I just bought an entire Sony component system for $40. It includes the pl-x295 turntable. The guy demo'd it for me and it worked perfectly. Now I've got it home and the turntable plays records too slow. What could've caused this and any idea how to adjust speed or repair?

Have a look at the the belt, it may be time for a replacement. :idea:
 
Is this the Sony PS-LX295?

I am no real help, but that may give you a little more traction with interweb searches.
