Sony PS-11 cueing lift comes down fast

Hello,

I have a Sony PS-11 turntable that works fine except for the cueing lift drops way too fast.

I cant see any place to put damping fluid or something, also in the manual there is nothing.

Anyone got an idea how to fix this or is this normal with this turntable ?

I also had a look at the service manual and found nothing on this.

I wonder if the lift can be... lifted away from the base and the damping fluid goes inside?

The microlift mechanism must be disassembled . For such turntables , it is disassembled from the inside . There is no other way to lubricate the microlift .

Thanks, I have ordered the silicone oil 500000CPS, will give it a try.
