Sony PS-4300 automatic operation?

Good Morning,

I have fixed my PS-4300 as seen in previous threads. I do have a question for anyone else who owns one.

In full auto mode when the record is done and the tonearm returns to it's rest, does the arm get lowered on to the rest?

Mine stays up as if cued up?:scratch2:
