sony ps 4350??

i cant find anythig about this turntable... any good ? im from Ecuador... here is no so easy to find good vintage stuff... the seller is asking $220
worth the price? its mid class? low class? seems to be in good condition...

It looks like a belt drive version of the PS-4750 made in 1975 - 1976. You need to be careful with belt drive Sony's of this era. The thrust bearing tends to turn into a hardened rubber like mush that locks-up the spindle. I have a belt drive PS-2350 made in the same era. When I bought it the platter would not spin at all. Had to fabricate a new Delrin thrust bearing & now it spins fine. Would you be able to check it out before buying it?

$220 is too much, unless the seller can guarantee you that everything is perfect (which probably isn't the case because vintage turntables almost always need service)

This is a good turntable, a very good one even.

I really doubt it will need much service as long as it's functional. I have never seen the ps-4350 before but the direct drive version the ps-4750 is pretty nice and usually sells for more than 220. I have a belt driven version of the sony broadcasting style turntables the ps-2400 which I recenty bought as a fun project/backup turntable and I have been really impressed with how well it runs. The ps-4350 seems to have been primarily (if not only) sold in japan. I don't think 220 usd is a bad price. Maybe try to offer like 150? Also make sure to either test it upon pick up or get confirmation that it's fully functional before shipping.
