Sony PS 6750

I am the new owner of a PS 6750 and need some advice on the settings for the PUA 1600 tonearm. I am planning on using a Denon DL 304 cartridge.

I have no documentation at all on the turntable. If anyone has a manual for this turntable ( or it's PS 8750 big sister) or the tonearm, I'd really appreciate it.

In addition, any advice on aligning the tonearm would also be appreciated.

Welcome to AK! Some info on TVK http://www.thevintageknob.org/SONY/sonyvault/PS6750/PS6750.html. PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send along some info on the PS-8750. Different arms, though. Also, post a pic of your new TT over here http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=52651 and you will likely get additional responses from other Sony folks. Also, do a search in this forum on PS-8750 and PS-6750. You will find quite a bit of info on the PS-8750, but I do not recall much on the PS-6750.

The 6750 doesn't use a PUA-1600 tonearm.
It has an upgraded "stock" arm which can be found on other Sony TTs from the time such as the PS-4750. The 6750's adds a lateral balancer to that of the 4750.

Thanks for the info. The tonearm on the 6750 looks more like the PUA 1600 than the tonearm on the 4750. More like a simplified version of the PUA 1600?
