Sony ps x-75 biotracer Arm swings over de platter

I just bought this defective ps x75 that doesn't cue and has an arm that swings over the platter before reacinh the correct position. The recordplayer hasn't arrived yet so I don't know if the arm controls are working but I wanted to create this forum in advance to see if anyone has experience with this issue.
