Sony ps-x4 return issue

Hi all. I have a little issue with this ps x4 that O bought from my local record shop. You see the turntable works fine but the auto return and return in general is not working correctly. The arm lifts up but it doesn't go back the position zero. It does move a bit but only when at the ending of a record and if it does move it moves really quick which is not how it's supposed to move according to a few video's I saw. I am quite confused on the entire mechanism as the part that moves the tonearm doesn't seem to have enough space toe move the tonearm the entire distance from end to zero. Does anyone have this turntable and if so could you maybe assist me with this issue ? Thanks.

I have this table. When I acquire it auto return is not working, speed is jumping up and down, and strobe is not working. Auto return was easiest to fix. I spray IPA on internal mechanisms to dissolve old grease. Then I spray on fresh lube from spray can. I also reset trip mechanism per simple procedure in service manual. Auto return start working again. Old grease was like glue. Great table, love it.
 
I tried re lubing it but I guess I didnt really get deep into the mechanism. I'll try again tomorrow thanks. And yes I agree it's a nice deck, especially for the price.
