for those who have sony ps-x turntables or those wth sbmc plinths, how do you clean/detail your beloved tables? i have a sony ps-x50 and i would like to shine it up a bit, and i'd like to know how you guys keep your sonies(?) shiny.

I don't know but this weekend I picked up a Sony PS-T3 that was missing the dust cover, covered in nicotine and dust and to add insult to injury it had been rained on. But it had a beautiful gold metal bodied AT15SS cartridge on it with a broken stylus. Gave all of 5 bucks for it. Removed the rubber mat and headshell and it's still sitting in my trunk. Don't want it but don't have the heart to toss it either. I should probably put it on my driveway and squirt it down with Simple Green and blast it with the garden hose. Couple of days in the hot sun and plug it in. Might still work. Seller said it did.
