I have always wanted to get a pair of Harbeth speakers either P3ESR or C7-ES3 for the excellent vocal performance, but they are very costly even as used units. Today in my place there is a used pair of said Sony speakers for sale, and according to research, it excels in vocal too:
"The smaller of the series (SS-A3) sold well enough to remain very easy to find and beats the pants off most small-size 'speakers nevertheless - british, european and japanese included." --

Selling at about half the price of P3ESR this indeed is very tempting.
Any owners of Harbeth and Sony SS-A3 can chime in before I make a final decision?
