Sony SS-U711AV Speakers?

Sony SS-U711AV Speakers

Are these worth picking up at a local thrift store? They are asking $200/pair/obo. They are model number SS-U711AV. They have a 12" Woofer & Passive Radiator. Don't know much about them. I currently swap between my JBL L100T3's and KLH Model Six speakers now. Powered by an older Sony component system.

Thanks!

Absolutely unrealistic price!!!!
For 200 bucks you can find a pair of excellent speakers on your local CL.

Agreed, they look like rack-system junk.

Not as good as your current speakers. Sony speakers better than your JBLs are pretty rare.

Pass on them and never look back! Top of the line "junk"

They may look good...but they came with a cheap rack system...pass on them...
