Hello! I am brand new to this forum as of today. I have about 8 reel to reels that I have acquired in the last 6 months. All work, but all have issues. My Sony Stereocorder 521 is in great shape; but might get rid of it, since it is making a thumping tapping audio noise that is coming through the speakers.
Any idea of what this is?
Also how do I remove it from the case in order to start cleaning?
I do not know a whole lot , but am willing to learn.
