I am a complete newbie to the the world of vintage SS receivers. Today I bought a Sony STR-6800SD in good condition. The first thing I want to do is to check DC bias and I can't find a complete service manual for this specific model. The manuals I found are incomplete, and none had the section on how to adjust bias. I found the procedure on a manual for the 7800 SD, however are the desired values (0.25 mV) for this model the same as for the 6800 SD?. If not, does anybody have a copy of the service manual for the 6800 SD that could share with me? I'd appreciate that. Thanks in advance!
