Nice machine. I did a review of Sony's evolution of receivers from the 6060 to the 6800. 65 or 70 wpc into 8 ohms. Four gang tuner. They have that strong but detailed early Sony sound.

Love the bling styling too.
My speakers are technics SB-A52. Also what the hell is the muting lever for?
I looked very carefully at the review of eary Sony receivers, as well as at the commentary on FM Tunerinfo website, and I am still confused regarding the authors' opinions of the Sony 6065. Since I inherited my dad's 6065, I am most interested in where the piece fits into the hierarchy of early Sony models. Is it the result of the early Sony attempt to meet or beat Mac quality; or is it in the second tier of Sony creations? Specifically, what is good or bad about the 6065?
A sincere thank you to the gurus who research these things.:thmbsp:
so how am i supposed to run an equalizer with my tt's?
