Sony Ta-1120A as a power amp ?

Hi . Can this amplifier be used as a power amp? In the back there is an entrance that says "junction check points in". When I use it there is no sound on my headphones .

I don't have speakers to test .

Are you using the headphone jack on the front panel? If so then the pre-amp out is disconnected so no signal will go to the amp section just to the headphones.

But it's not clear what you're doing on the back panel.

@mikehd where did you get the user manual from? I didn't find it on the internet.

Yes I am using the headphone jack from the front panel
