Sony ta-e1000esd - what to do, what to do?

I'm thinking of buying one of these Sony pre-amps and partnering it with my Sony TA-F730ES OR TA-F6B.
Using the 730/6B as a power amp.

Does this sound ridiculous to you good folks?

Shall I save my money and run the 730/6B as they are and not bother with a pre-amp such as the one mentioned?

I normally listen to 2 channel stereo sound, and that's what the 1000ESD would mostly be doing.

If I were you I'd keep using my integrated amps as they are.And if you want to use digital sources get a DAC.To me it seems a downgrade from what you have.
