I have been given a TA f555-ES amp. It works well but there is a slight issue with the balance control. The left channel has lower sound levels and more muddled sound than the right. The right channel is clean and crisp. If I turn the balance all the way to the left, the sound is muddled and low.
I have tried rotating the balance knob back and forth between right and left but that didn't solve it. The guy who gave it to me said that it was somehow intermittent problem.
All advice is welcome. I have the service manual if it is required.
