Sony TA-F570ES vs. Sony TA-F530ES (vs. Harmon Kardon HK-450)

Hi all – I’m new here and also to buying hi-fi equipment. So I can buy either of these sony amps (and think I’d like to) and poked around and found the specs on each and it seems to me that the F530ES is the slightly better of the two. Does anyone here know about either or both and about Sony naming conventions?

And just to keep it interesting – I plan on using a pair of Beovox S45.2 with the amp. Given this choice of speakers would anyone here opt for the Harman Kardon HK-450 I can get for a similar price.

Thanks.

Not that this clears anything up, but more digging on the web suggests that a TA-F570ES is that same as a TA-F222ESA (1991) and that a TA-F530ES is the same as a TA-F222ESR (1989).

Well,basicly yes. A TA-F222ESA is a TA-F570ES,but...
The japanese version has a couple differences to the european version.
Firstly the japanese F222ESA has a bigger transformer. Its not a capsuled
torodial but it has more VA and the additional copper makes the amp around
2 kG heavier than the european version which leads to slightly more impuls
output power and a better low impedance stability. (The F570ES btw. is not
bad either in that regard).
Also the "tuning" is a bit different, noticable in different values for various
compensation elements in the phonostages and the frontends of the power amps.
