Sony TC-444-4J value?

I have a Sony TC-777-4J unit with power supply that I'm considering selling and I'm curious about the value. The Left VU lamp is out and plate that covers the heads is missing. It plays and records fine and overall is in pretty decent cosmetic condition. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm located in Australia if that makes any difference.

I would say do some research to gauge the Aussie markets starting with your your local markets and go from there.

I would say that a majority of the folks here are based in the US and those who dabble in and are familiar with reselling audio equipment are primarily doing so based on US markets. I say this because I think it's gonna be hard for anyone to give you a value for something being sold in Australia.

Do you plan on selling it in Australia only? are considering markets outside of Australia if so where? have you factored in packaging & shipping costs?
 
Sorry I just realised I've listed the wrong model number its actually TC-777-4J. I would consider selling worldwide, it is very heavy though so I imagine it would be expensive to ship. Haven't been able to find this particular model for sale anywhere. There is a decent local market for Reel to Reels in Australia but no idea what this is worth

I would start with your local market first, US pricing and guesstimates aren't really gonna help you.

The price varies. I've seen it from 150 to 250 depends on the condition. I also noticed your machine missing the heads cover. That may reduce your value a lot as there is no replacement for such thing.
