Sony tps l2 recap?

So I have been working on this walkman for a bit now and I replaced the rollers and the belts but the sound is wobbly or whiney. I wanted to try and recap the thing as a sort of last resort but the service manual doesn't really help too much. I could probably try and guess but the capacitors for the model I have (EU serial number 5xxxx) aren't marked electrolytic only the other types. Do I just assume all the ones that don't have a type listed are electrolytic?

If they are polarizes and have a higher capacity rating, while also looking much like an electrolytic.. I would say so.

However, uneven tape-speed does not sound to me like a bad cap. If not the rubbers then maybe the motor, or clutches, or lubricants that turned to glue or something like that.

I replaced the motor since I had one laying around but no dice. Was thinking that it might be caps leaking and not putting out constant values anymore. I guess I'll try cleaning it one more time though.

Probably best.. Not sure if by 'rollers' you meant the pinch-roller as well? Otherwise that is a prime suspect.
