Sony V-FET Safety Mod

I keep reading about the safety mods that are necessary on all 1st gen Sony V-FET amps to void killing the V-FET's and have gathered that they require the replacement of some diodes and resistors, but have never seen any detailed information or schematics on any of the Sony models sporting these transistors indicating exactly what components have to be changed out, let alone information on replacement components.

Does anyone have this information or any leads on where it might be found?

Oh, the bead diodes... Yep. Same as in the Sansui driver boards. The little buggers go bad and screw up the bias. "POP!"
