Just received a clean SONY WM-D6C WALKMAN PROFESSIONAL and it charges the battery and plays but will not FAST FORWARD or REWIND.
I added a ? after Replacement 'cause I don't know what the real reason is in this particular Walkman and I guessed based on many ebay listings for this (and other) model selling with the caveat that the FAST FORWARD and REWIND do not work and they also guess that it might be that the Walkman needs a replacement belt. I feel confident I can fix it with proper instructions but I looked on YouTube for repair videos and no one shows taking the Walkman apart from step one. So I gotta find a local repairperson, hopefully on the Upper West Side but I'm willing to ship it to whoever can fix it.
If you know of a source I'll appreciate a name and/or a link. All suggestions will be appreciated.
