Sonys inbound looking for input

I thought there might be a Sony forum, but i guess not. I have 3 vintage Sonys inbound (none working).
A 6050, 6060, and a 6065.
I always heard good things about the 6060 and it was a package deal. I read Leestereos thread for the 60 and plan to use it for guidance. I was just wondering if anybody had any opinions or info (restore threads, experience or notes). I Downloaded (or at least started to )manuals for each (hifengine) I'm sure i'll have them all before i start.
It seems these are somewhat under the radar but much loved. If you've had them on your bench, or in your system and want to share anything. It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Blew up a 6050 back when it was in warranty. Is that the kind of experience you want to know about? Folks like me, that should be some fun work. Interesting that the Sony gear I have recapped, TAs. 2000F, 3120F x 2 have different value caps from the other brands I have used. 3 instead of a 4.7 for example. But that is no big deal.

I have the 6065. It compares well to the other receivers I have and is much better than the 6050 I had. The 6050 was really good.
Fix the 6065 if you can.
I've not owned the 6060.

I think they all ail from something.
The plan right now is to repair and restore each. Keep (probably) the one I like best and move the other 2. (Plans change,) I don't need 3 more receivers (a better than fair argument could be made that I don't need 1).
Probably a week or for before they show up. My bench time is limited so it will be a slow process.

Oh,
Blue Shadow,
Blowing up is relevant but only if you tell me why or how:D

It happened in a way that you won't be trying and would know it will smoke whatever is hooked up that way.

The implication (at least to me) is it saw a dead short.
It's possible it was just a long straight-a-way with the pedal to the floor to see how fast this sucker will go.
Fair to assume not usual practice for trying to make your gear outlive you (Or at least your taste
