Sorbethane foot mod

Got a set of 1" feet for my lightweight TT. They're great, but I found they were almost TOO sticky -- very difficult to reposition the TT with the feet sticking either to the receiver or TT.

Anyway, I got the idea to use 1" adhesive furniture feet on the pads and they work/look great. Pads sit in the "cup" of the built in feet and the pads allow me to slide the TT around on top of the receiver.

Now, if I could just figure out how to keep the dog and cat hair from sticking

I use them and they're amazingly sticky. I lift the TT a bit to get it positioned right and then it doesn't move. I think putting pads underneath may defeat (no pun intended!) the purpose a bit.

The issue I was having is if I lift the TT, one might stick to the TT (and then randomly fall off) and another might stick to the receiver. I definitely lose the "traction" they offer BUT I got them more for damping/isolation than I did out of concern for the TT actually moving.

Maybe you can replace the TT side with a 3M automobile grade say HHB 5952 (4"x8") double sided tape so it won't fall off?
