I picked up a pair of cv ch504r's for 13 bucks and a pair of sound dynamic 12s.Until i get around to resurround the woofers on the cv's I am using the 15 's out of my mach 1's but my question is are the sound dynamic tweeters anygood or better atleast than the horn in the cv's

You bet your booty they are good! For 1/2 of 12 bucks, you stole 'em! Check out what they go for on that auction site. They don't show up very often. You are talking about the machined aluminum circular horns with the orange domes, right?
