Soundcraftsmen 20-12 audio EQ on/off switch not illuminating

The on/off switch on my Soundcraftsmen 20-12 stopped illuminating sometime ago The EQ works. I do not see a bulb inside the clear plastic switch. Looks like the switch would be a lot of work to replace if there is even one available. My question is this, "Is the bulb or LED inside the switch, or is it behind the switch"?
